Garuda Pilot Strike Ends

   

"The strike just half a day. Following this will be announced," said Minister of SOEs. Garuda pilot strike ended after the Minister for State Owned Enterprises (SOEs), Mustafa Abubakar mediate between the pilots and the management of PT Garuda Indonesia Tbk. Mustafa expressed his gratitude for mutual understanding.
"It will be held later discussion, an explanation by Garuda and Garuda Pilots Association. Mogok quite half a day. Following this will be announced. We're grateful," said Mustafa after mediation in the headquarters of Garuda, the Soekarno-Hatta Airport, Tangerang, Thursday, July 28, 2011 .
Mustafa argues, understanding the differences between them are finished and reach agreement. "It is finished, yes I am a mediation. I who led the meeting, has reached an agreement, we are grateful," he said.
Meanwhile, President Director of Garuda Indonesia, Satar, confirmed the statement of minister of state enterprises. Garuda will continue mediating in the middle of the next Ramadan. "That will be followed up the issues of foreign pilots. The plan of the fasting month we meet, finish before Eid. The joint solution is the interests of Garuda," he said.
Meanwhile, President of the Association of Garuda pilot, Stephanus Gerardus states since at 13.00 pm, declared a strike flew over. "I declare the strike is over the pilots," he said.
He applauded the settlement. He said his gratitude to the minister who has been mediating the problems or conflicts that occur in the body of Garuda.
"There is agreement, the substandard communication, we are willing to mediate during the month of Ramadan. Mogok otherwise cease to fly, hopefully it can handle. We were always one spirit, one goal, and one team," said Stephanus.
