Bali is the witness of reunion between South and North Korea

Island of the Gods to witness the reopening of the good relations of North Korea (North Korea) and South Korea (ROK). Yesterday, South Korean negotiators who represented the Chairman Wi Sung-lac held a closed meeting with the North represented Ri Yong-Ho. Ri is a senior North Korean diplomat who is expected to replace Kim Kye-Gwan, North Korea as Chief Negotiator.

Meeting Kim and Ri is the first meeting of the two Koreas after a meeting of six countries (six-party talks) last in 2008. This meeting is very important to move to the level higher.

Hours earlier, Foreign Minister Marty Natalegawa exploring the possibility of a meeting between Korse) and North Korea. The meeting is expected to be on the sidelines of meeting of ASEAN Regional Forum (ARF).

"I hope may help facilitate an informal meeting between Pak Ui Chun and Kim Sung-Hwan (South Korean Foreign Minister)," Natalegawa said after closed-door meeting with North Korean Foreign Minister Pak Ui Chun in Bali yesterday.

South Korea wanted to try to re-open negotiations with a neighbor who had long been stalled.
